Share in the Festive Fun at City Centre Me'aisem's Outdoor Winter in Wonderland
Huge festive space will be home to outdoor cinema, multiple renowned F&B outlets, activities, games, Santa meet-and-greet, and much more
Dubai, UAE, 12 December 2019: City Centre Me’aisem is creating an outdoor Winter in Wonderland this festive season, complete with a glittering Christmas tree, crystal-white snow, and popular treats, in what will be the mall’s first ever entertainment and food event.
The month-long festival – from 5 December till 5 January – intends to bring families and friends together to experience renowned F&B pop-ups, a cinema, ice rink, snow park, and much more.
The 50mX50m outdoor space will revolve around a towering festive tree and offer guests the chance to have fun in a sleigh-inspired photobooth while enjoying a daily Santa Claus meet-and-greet from 10 – 28 December. On various dates, guests can also marvel at the swift dance moves of the HO HO HO Roaming Show entertainers and savour the delightful tasty pieces of Lindt chocolate gifted to them by Santa.
The concept includes a full schedule of festive and feel-good movies including Home Alone and Happy Feet for visitors to enjoy throughout the month, as they sit beneath the stars at the bean bag cinema station. For those wanting to get active, the festival also offers an ice rink for visitors to skate loops, and a Snow Park where kids will find holiday cheer in anything from snowball fights to making snow angels.
When the kids are tired and need something to munch on during the movie, the family can refuel at any one (or more, it’s the holidays) of the pop-up food stations, which include Pizza Hut, Wing Stop, Kris Kros, Cinnabon, Krispy Kreme, KFC, Waffle Stick, TOTT, Kiddie Corner, Gerard, and Surf n Fries.
Maryam Ahli, Manager, Mall Management, Shopping Malls – East, at Majid Al Futtaim said: “Winter in Wonderland is going to be the biggest and brightest festival City Centre Me’aisem has ever thrown. Being at the heart of a diverse community, we understand the importance of creating immersive and memorable experiences for our guests. That’s what this experience is all about — creating great moments for families and friends during the holiday season.”
Winter Wonderland is free to enter and will be open between 4pm and 12am on weekdays, and 12pm and 12am on weekends. A number of activities inside the space will be offered at a small surcharge. The ice rink and Snow Park are offered at 30AED each for 30 minutes, while one train ride costs AED 10 and two train rides is priced at AED 15.
City Centre Me’aisem’s Winter in Wonderland opened on 5 December and is available to explore and enjoy every day throughout the holiday season.
