Marks & Spencer's Unveils its All New Menswear
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 06, 2020: For spring 20, Marks & Spencer’s menswear line is focusing on casual styling, offering more contemporary fits with increased slim and skinny styles and more versatility across the wardrobe. New season staples include shirts adorned in statement prints, knitwear with a sportswear influence, the over shirt and textured Yorke knits. Styling is simple, with easy to wear quality pieces at great value.
This spring, the mood is underpinned by a ‘Barbican’ theme – think effortless stylish pieces that have been redefined with a modern aesthetic and where stripes meet grid checks. Fabrics are soft but with a sharp finish, complemented with texture and character and patterns are contemporary, yet easy to wear. Meanwhile tones of grey alongside rust greens, royal and chambray blues give the range a confident look and feel.
This season, the collection is also inspired by a ‘Borough’ theme, where colours such as mint, coral and yellow are championed. This is a story of print and stripes of which are both key trends for the season, where stripes influence both knitwear and jerseys and print develops into different palettes of ditsy floral and dark flower prints. Spring also sees the arrival of classic denim shorts, perfect for a weekend of leisure or city breaks. Meanwhile linen is reintroduced, reflecting richer tones of red, neutral and indigo which are a must-have this season.
Spring sees Marks & Spencer showcase more inspirational outfits and ways to wear these, as well as bridging the gap between formal and casual wear with smart options. Whether it’s classic slim fit suits with subtle check detailing paired with lightweight roll necks or sporty polo tops worn with smart checked trousers – Marks & Spencer has men covered. Better still, with updates to the designs, colour palettes, textures, styling details and prints and more slim and skinny styles – this collection is certainly one to note.
And as no collection from Marks & Spencer would be complete without clever innovations – shoppers this season can enjoy trousers with a modern stretch, as well as Cool Comfort™ technology across flatpack t-shirts, polos and linen shirts, helping to draw moisture away from the skin to keep men feeling fresh for longer. Furthermore, 100% of Marks & Spencer’s cotton is sustainably sourced, while the vegan footwear and accessories range continues to grow, so shoppers can feel as good as they look.
