Ajman, UAE - April 01, 2020: As part of the precautionary measures announced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention aimed at combating the spread of Covid-19 and under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, Ajman Sewerage Private Company Limited (ASPCL) is appealing to its customers to use its online services available instead of visiting its customer service centers with immediate effect.
The endorsement, which was issued by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and chairman of the Executive Council, is geared towards ensuring the health and safety of the community while ensuring the sustainability, efficiency and continuity of service delivery to the residents of Ajman.
Customers planning to visit any of the centers will be required to obtain a service request ticket by calling the call center first using the number 067 714 8888.
ASPCL, which has three customer service centers across the city of Ajman, would also like to reassure its customers of uninterrupted services despite the inconvenience caused by the virus scare.
“In line with our support of the government’s efforts and commitment towards stopping further spread of Covid-19, we would like to send a passionate appeal to all our customers to use our online channels instead of coming to any of our centers. By doing so, we shall minimize the chances of spreading Covid-19. In the meantime, our services will continue uninterrupted,” said Elias Sfeir, general manager, ASPCL.
He went on to add, “We are also supporting H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi’s decision on the establishment and formation of the Business Continuity Committee in the Ajman government. This will ensure business continuity in time of crisis.”
Employee safety
While every measure is being taken to ensure customer safety, ASPCL has also put in place guidelines aimed at keeping its employees safe. Movement in and out of all labor camps has been restricted unless under special circumstances.
The company has also suspended staff leaves while those on leave will need to self-isolate for 14 days before reporting back to their respective workstations. The employees have also been advised to avoid crowded social places as well as to adhere to social distancing in order to reduce the chances of being infected.
ASPCL has also introduced remote working for its employees following the setting up of its cloud computing system.
Services that can be accessed through the company’s website and mobile app include inquiries, complaints, feedback, new tenant registration, service termination and NOC requests.
Others such as out of network NOC, payment facilities, WWPR and refund can be requested directly by contacting the customer call center.
