More than 76 brands at Doha Festival City re-opened their doors to shoppers today, including much loved fashion, home decor, electronics, and sportswear brands.

 

Doha, Qatar – 16 June 2020:  Doha Festival City, Qatar's one and only destination for shopping, is excited to welcome back shoppers to their favorite brands and retail shops, with the reopening of its stores as part of phase 1 of the gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions in Qatar.

Fashion enthusiasts can visit the mall and shop the trendiest collections for both ladies and menswear from more than 35 fashion brands including &Other Stories, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aldo, American Eagle Outfitters, Armani Exchange, Aura, Banana Republic, Bershka, BHS, Boggi, Centrepoint, Collection of Style, Gap, Guess, H&M, H&M Men's, Hollister, LC Waikiki, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Max Fashion, Nautica, New Yorker, Next, Pull & Bear, R&B, Reserved, Riva, River Island, Sfera, Stradivarius, Ted Baker, Tommy Hilfiger, Topshop and Zara.

Sporting fans can now enjoy the latest sports gear and exercising kits from their favorite sports outlets including Adidas, Footlocker, Adidas Originals, Go Sport, Nike, Stadium and Under Armour.

For those working from home and looking to update their home office space, or wanting a summer make-over can get inspired from more than 13 home decor brand now open including Ikea, ACE, Butterfly Design Studios, Daiso, Hema, Home Centre, Laura Ashley, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Muji, The One, West Elm and Zara Home. 

Offering the latest in luxury and urban collections with modern fashion designs and accessories, Harvey Nichols, Debenhams, and Marks & Spencer are also open now.

For video gamers and tech lovers, the latest digital accessories and devices are available through FNAC and Virgin Megastore – available both instore and through online shopping.  

Parents looking to reward their children for successfully ending another school year, or simply to pamper the little ones with a nice summer look, Mama's & Papa's, Mothercare, The Children's Place, Salam Kido and LC Waikiki Kids are now open. Commenting on the reopening of the mall and outlets, Robert Hall, General Manager of Doha Festival City: “We are thrilled to welcome back shoppers to some of their favorite brands and stores in Doha Festival City. Our customers will experience several safety measures on entry, including displaying a valid EHTERAZ Green health symbol and we appreciate all paying attention to the Government advice and recognize proper distancing. We hope that Doha Festival City will continue being the destination of choice for our entire community, while being fully committed to ensure the highest standards of safety and well-being for both our shoppers and tenants.”

In line with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s directives, opening hours will be Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 8pm. Monoprix remains open Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 11pm, and Friday and Saturday from 8am to midnight, and M&S Food Hall remains open daily from 9am to 10pm. Boots Pharmacy will remain open from 9am to 10pm on weekdays, and from 9am to 11pm on weekends, while Kulud Pharmacy will be open daily from 8am to midnight. Banking and telecommunications braches will be open Sunday to Friday. 

Shoppers must show their green Ehteraz QR code at the entrance of the mall and should wear a medical mask throughout their time at the mall. Visitors aged 12 or less and those aged 60 and above will not be allowed in the mall as in accordance with the MOCI directives.
