Dream Come True for Arabic Commentators Featured on New WWE Game
United Arab Emirates, September 24, 2020: For the three Arabic commentators chosen to be part of WWE’s 2K Battlegrounds video game, the opportunity is a dream come true.
Jude Aldajani, Faisal Almughaiseeb and Saeed AlGhamdi, who are all part of WWE’s Arabic commentary team, have plenty of experience between them having worked on huge KSA events such as Super ShowDown and Crown Jewel, where their words have helped describe action involving some of the brand’s biggest Superstars, including The Undertaker, AJ Styles and Braun Strowman, who faced Tyson Fury in a memorable encounter in 2019.
At the same event, history was made as Natalya faced Lacey Evans in the first all-female WWE bout to take place in KSA, a pivotal moment in the evolution of WWE.
Now, the commentary skills of Aldajani, Almughaiseeb and AlGhamdi will be heard on 2K Battlegrounds, which features over 70 WWE Superstars and is available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Almughaiseeb, who as well as commentating for WWE works as a presenter on KSA’s UFM, was delighted to be given the opportunity to commentate on the game.
“Presenting a radio show about wrestling is something special, it’s an opportunity to create influence in the Saudi streets and produce content that helps fans understand the history of WWE, especially as we interview many Superstars.
“Commentating on WWE 2K Battlegrounds was a lot of fun, and a chance to continue our work on the commentary table. As a lover of video games, it was a special experience for me.
“I look forward to doing more commentary, growing and progressing. I will continue to work hard, because my dreams have become a reality, and nothing is impossible when it comes to WWE.”
Aldajani was approached by WWE to be part of their commentary team after creating his own YouTube channel and podcast dedicated to wrestling.
“I was absolutely honoured to be asked to commentate on the 2K Battlegrounds game, especially having grown up in the 1990s watching WWE,” he says.
“It was a great experience working with the guys, very enjoyable, and we tried to make it as fluid and flexible as possible.
“It’s a great game and WWE fans around the world are going to have a lot of fun playing it.”
WWE 2K Battlegrounds is available now globally.
