Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has highlighted the most exciting promotions taking place across malls, shopping centres and independent retailers that will be offering deals on some of the season’s most popular items, from stunning gold and jewellery pieces, traditional and contemporary fashion from big brands and designers, plus stylish homeware and more, proving that Diwali is the perfect time to go shopping!

Jewellery 
With more than 100 outlets located around the city, Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG) is the go-to choice for shoppers looking for fine cut gems or precious gold this Diwali, as DGJG offers a super selection of promotions for the annual ‘Festival of Light’ celebrations. As part of the group’s Diwali mega deal, shoppers who spend AED 500 at participating outlets can enter a raffle to win jewellery vouchers worth up to AED 100,000. DGJG’s Twin Deal is a great Buy One, Get One Free offer on selected diamonds and pearls, while the Gold for Gold promotion offers zero making charges on selected 18, 21 and 22 karat gold jewellery and the Golden Goodies offer means shoppers will receive free gold gifts with selected jewellery purchases. The super offers are available until 21 November. Brands taking part in the promotion include Jawhara Jewellery, Indus Jewellers, Tejori Gems, Anaka, Yasin Jewellery, Meena Jewellers, Jewel Clouds Jewellery, Khushi Jewellery, Sky Jewellery, Bhima Jewellers, Guru Jewellers, Popley, Joyalukkas, Malabar Gold and more.
 
Customers who spend AED 200 at participating Dubai Shopping Mall Group (DSMG) centres can enter a raffle to win gold prizes worth an amazing AED 100,000. During Diwali, 20 shoppers will win 20 grams of gold each, adding an extra golden shine to their celebrations! Malls taking part in the promotion include the Al Khail Gate Community Centre, Arabian Centre, Bay Avenue, BurJuman, Dubai Outlet Mall, Oasis Mall, Time Square Center, The Mall and Reef Mall.
 
Families are invited to visit the Diwali Market at City Centre Al Shindagha mall. Held in partnership with Carrefour, the pop-up market will feature exclusive savings on a wide range of great Diwali products, clothes and gifts.

City Centre Deira and City Centre Al Shindagha shopping malls are giving away half a kilogram of gold to lucky customers this Diwali. Visitors and residents who spend AED 200 in either mall up until 14 November will enter into the Spend & Win raffle. City Centre Al Shindagha is also holding Spin & Win Batak games for people who spend AED 200 in any store. Visitors can collect an e-token from mall customer service and spin the wheel to win guaranteed prizes.

Dubai Festival Plaza is giving away cash prizes to lucky residents and visitors visiting the mall’s great deals and promotions throughout Diwali. The prizes can be redeemed via the Festival Rewards smartphone app for use until 30 November.  

Retail 
Taking place until 28 November, Amira Luxury Jewellery will reward shoppers who spend between AED 3,000 and AED 10,000 on diamond jewellery with a free gold necklace, bracelet or earrings. Customers who purchase gold worth AED 3,000 will receive a free silver necklace, a free gold necklace or earrings when they buy gold worth AED 6,000, and a free gold bracelet when they spend AED 10,000 on gold. Prima Diamond has reduced the price of selected diamond jewellery pieces by 75 per cent and Jawhara Jewellery is offering savings of 50 per cent on selected jewellery from 6 to 21 November.
 
Fans of stylish interior design, homeware and inventive household solutions can find the very latest looks, ideas and more at Dubai Design Week. Taking place at Dubai Design District (d3) from 9 to 14 November in an open air and safely distanced environment, Dubai Design Week offers shoppers the chance to discover a modern and contemporary take on Diwali favourites. A highlight of this year’s event will be the Dubai Design Week Marketplace that features a selection of Dubai’s artisans, creatives, entrepreneurs, small businesses and independent food producers. 
 
With the onset of the cooler winter weather, now’s the perfect time to browse the stalls and catch the vendors at Ripe Market. The event’s outdoor weekend market at Academy Park in Umm Suqeim is home to a great selection of household items, clothes, cosmetics, jewellery and much more. Families looking for unique Diwali treats can check out a range of traditional trinkets and modern interpretations of classic gifts that are ideal for friends and family. The weekly markets coincide with this year’s Diwali celebrations, with the event taking place from 10am to 7pm on 14 November.
 
Movie buffs and film fans can keep up to date with all the latest releases, gossip and happenings in Bollywood with a super Filmfare magazine raffle. Budding front cover stars are urged to visit the Bloomingdale’s store in The Dubai Mall, pose for a photo in front of the giant Filmfare magazine cover and upload it to social media channels using the hashtags @bloomingdalesme #bloomingdalesme @FilmfareME and #FilmfareMiddleEast to win. Two lucky winners will receive a year’s subscription to the prestigious film magazine. 
 
Fashion
Casual wear store Salsa is offering customers savings of 35 per cent on selected lines from 6 to 21 November while American Eagle Outfitters and Annabelle have each reduced prices by 50 per cent on selected items for the same period. 

IKKS and Mashaykh are hosting part sales with reductions of 25 to 75 per cent from 6 to 21 November, while Next will offer Buy One, Get One on selected lines, Buy Two, Get One Free on selected combos as well as items priced as low as AED 50 to AED 85 from 8 to 14 November.

French luxury fashion house BALMAIN and Italian fashion line Gianfranco Ferre have both reduced prices by 70 to 75 per cent at their stores around the city from 6 to 21 November with Versace also offering savings of 30 to 75 per cent and Wrangler cutting prices by 25 to 75 per cent.
 
Beauty
Wojooh has a great part sale of 30 to 50 per cent on perfume and cosmetics, The Face Shop is offering 30 per cent savings on selected items. Perfume specialists Abdul Samad Al Qurashi have reduced the price of their entire range of products by 50 per cent from from 6 to 21 November, Allesandro Dell’Acqua have a part sale of 70 to 75 per cent with Bin Kamal Perfumes’ hosting a part sale of 25 to 75 per cent over the same period.
 
Homeware
The Red Carpet and Villeroy & Boch are hosting part sales with reduced prices of 30 to 70 per cent and 25 to 75 per cent respectively on home furnishings, home improvement equipment and kitchenware from 6 to 21 November. Royal Palace has a part sale with savings of 25 to 75, Laura Ashley is offering reductions from 25 to 70 per cent, Koala Living 25 to 50 per cent and Chattels & More 25 to 75 per cent – all over the same period.

Home Box branches in Oasis Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall and Centrepoint Bur Dubai are hosting a special Diwali collection with prices reduced by 25 per cent across a selection of items including Diwali lights, traditional gifts and more. The promotion runs until 25 November.

Shoppers visiting Homes r Us stores in Ibn Battuta Mall, Arabian Centre, Mazaya Centre and Zabeel Furniture Mall can enjoy savings of 25 to 70 per cent as part of the Homes r Us Diwali Gift Gala, running from 6 to 21 November. Customers will also receive a AED 100 gift card with every purchase over AED 1,000 between 6 to 14 November. 

Jashanmal Home is hosting a part sale with savings of 25 to 75 per cent, Museum reducing prices by 25 to 75 per cent and THE One offering 25 per cent off selected items between 6 to 21 November.
 
Electronics
Better Life has a diverse range of offers on selected products with direct savings of AED 50 and AED 800 when shoppers spend from AED 1,500 and AED 10,000 between 6 to 21 November. Harman House will give customers instant free gifts including JBL Headphones when they purchase a Samsung S20+ smartphone, a Samsung Watch2 with every Samsung Fold mobile phone and a 5.1 JBL Bar Home Theatre with every 65 inch Samsung TV from 6 to 21 November. Ismart stores will host a part sale of 25 to 75 per cent during the same period.
 
Optical
Solaris has a great part sale from 6 to 21 November with savings of 30 to 75 per cent, Vision Express’ part sale also runs over the same period with prices reduced by 25 to 75 per cent and Prime Optics has a range of offers including 30 to 60 per cent off all Ray-Ban frames, 40 per cent off all sunglasses, 50 per cent off prescription glasses and 60 per cent off all frames.

Sun Vision, Tri Vision Opticals and Opti Vision stores are offering reductions of 50 to 75 per cent, 30 to 60 per cent and 30 to 70 per cent respectively from 6 to 21 November. Crystal Vision Optical has reduced prices by 50 to 70 per cent while Dubai Optometrist & Sunglasses is hosting a part sale with offers from  30 to 70 per cent also from 6 to 21 November.

Food
This Diwali, online food app zomato’s Brighten your Festival of Lights promotion is offering big savings at more than 200 of Dubai’s best Indian, South Asian and international restaurants. From 6 to 21 November families and friends can benefit from savings of 15 to 40 per cent off in-dining experiences and upto 50 per cent off online orders, with a minimum order of AED 20.
