HBMSU celebrates 76 valedictorians on the ‘Dean's List-Spring Semester 2019/2020'

17 November 2020 - Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) celebrated its latest roster of valedictorians who were recognized for their distinguished academic performance in the ‘Dean's List’ ceremony for the Spring Semester 2019/2020. Organized by the university’s Learners Relationship Management (LRM) team, the ceremony was held recently online in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, the Chancellor of HBMSU, faculty, and administrative members, learners from various academic programs, and their family members.
Al Awar congratulated the high achievers for scoring academic excellence and scientific distinction in key programs, including Business and Quality Management, e-Education, and Health and Environmental Studies. He noted that they are worthy of the trust bestowed upon them by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU, who believes that they are the real wealth of the nation and the best bet to achieve a bright and prosperous future.
Al Awar added, “We duly recognize our learners’ commitment to leadership, passion, and ambition, taking up the task to create a better tomorrow. We are proud of the outstanding academic achievements of our youths that will add to our history of success and excellence in graduating scientifically, cognitively, and innovatively qualified young people who have the practical expertise to lead change and create the future with their high spirits and aspirations so that the sky is the limit.”
The online ceremony witnessed the awarding of 28 postgraduate learners in Business and Quality Management, e-Education, Health and Environment Studies, 16 of them from the School of Business and Quality Management, 7 from the School of Health and Environmental Studies, and 5 from the School of E-learning. In addition, 48 undergraduate learners were honored, 33 from the School of Business and Quality Management, and 15 from the School of Health and Environmental Studies.
The valedictorians, who received their certificates via e-mail, expressed their thanks and gratitude to HBMSU, the management, academics, and employees headed by Dr. Al Awar, for their unlimited support to provide a unique learning experience that supports their ability to excel and showcase their leadership. The learners renewed their commitment to move forward on the path of excellence and become a true source of energy and potential that would serve the UAE in its bid to complete its preparations for the next fifty years and enter a new era of development, growth, and prosperity.
