Hala Badri Attends Opening of 2020 showCACE Senior Student Exhibition

United Arab Emirates -  December 05, 2020:  Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, visited the 2020 showCACE senior student exhibition, which was organised by the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University to display the projects of the college’s female graduates. The exhibition was held in Dubai Design District on 23 November.
 
The Director General of Dubai Culture toured the exhibition, where she was briefed on the projects of the college’s art and design graduates in animation, graphic design, interior design, and visual arts.
 
Badri praised the creativity of the graduates and the creative ideas reflected in their projects, which encompassed the totality of their experiences and knowledge, resulting in successful and influential projects. She said: “These projects are distinguished by their inspiring and diverse creative content, and I foresee a bright future for these graduates in leading the emirate’s art and design and that of the United Arab Emirates. I am confident that they will play an integral role in enriching the creative scene, and I salute them for this wonderful effort, especially that they succeeded in achieving it under exceptional circumstances during this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
 
Badri added: “We, at Dubai Culture, are keen to nurture and encourage talents in the UAE community as well as empower and provide opportunities for creative people to develop their skills and leave a creative imprint on society, contributing to making Dubai a unique icon of art and creativity in addition to strengthening its position as an incubator for creativity and creators.”
