‘Educators without Borders' to cover South Asia in partnership with India's Ma'din Academy
United Arab Emirates - January 12, 2021: Educators without Borders (EWB), a Geneva-headquartered global organization that provides education to children in crisis affected regions, has announced its partnership with South India’s leading educational center Ma'din Academy.
This is aimed to promote partnership and bolster cooperation in educational services by exchanging experience and developing human resources for the new world. Under the agreement signed with the EWB, Ma’din Academy will lead the global organization’s educational initiatives in the South Asia and South East Asian regions.
Sheikh Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari, Chairman of Ma’din Academy, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Mohamed Albaili, Chairman of Educators without Borders, at a ceremony held in Dubai.
The agreement focuses on achieving objectives of integration and sharing experience and information within the two organizations in the education sector.
Commenting on the agreement, Sheikh Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari, said, “We are delighted to partner with Educators without Borders in this noble initiative to extend educational support to the most deserving children in the society. Ma’din will provide teacher training programs using its academic and administrative resources to the EWB in Asia. In addition to this, volunteering students from Ma’din will be part of a number of events and research programs conducted by the EWB.”
“The partnership will witness Ma’adin Academy offering lessons, lectures, and workshops to develop education systems in the target areas and promoting the values of volunteering among students and teachers. This initiative is part of our strong focus on the social responsibility as we are involved in several such initiatives,” he added.
Dr. Mohammed Albaili, Chairman of Educators without Borders, said, “We are happy to engage with South East Asian and South Asian societies with the support of Ma’din Academy. The agreement seeks to bolster collaboration in developing technical teaching materials and distance education technologies, supporting students with disabilities, and preparing and exchanging studies and curricula.”
“The agreement sets an example in cooperation between the community and humanitarian institutions through joint projects and integrated programs, along with holding training courses to enhance the quality of education and develop leadership and personal skills for teachers, students, and parents,” he added.
Headquartered in Malappuram District in Kerala, Ma'din Academy is a non-profit organization that includes more than 40 educational institutions and charities, providing services to nearly 25,000 students.
Educators without Borders is an international organization based in Geneva, concerned with providing educational services for children in affected regions and improving training services in crisis areas.
