A 97-year-old citizen receives the first dose of the Covid 19 vaccine at a “SEHA” center.
Abu Dhabi, 14 Jan 2021:Nekhaira Obaid Saeed Al Dhaheri, 97, received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at SEHA’s Neima Healthcare Center. Commenting on Al Dhaheri’s decision, his son said: “My 97-year-old father decided to join the rest of the family in taking the vaccine, we encouraged him to do so in line with the UAE’s leadership’s direction and in support of the nation’s efforts to beat the pandemic and protect the community. We visited Neima Healthcare Center where the doctor first assessed my father’s health to confirm his eligibility before administering the vaccine. I encourage the community, particularly senior citizens and residents, to take the COVID-19 vaccine in order to protect themselves and their loved ones. I also encourage everyone to refer to official sources for information around the vaccine, and not to pay attention to rumours.”
