In Solidarity with the Indian Nation
01 May 2021 - Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company, has announced that it is waiving its fees, across all its branches, for donations transferred to India’s PM CARES Fund, a dedicated fund formed to strengthen the country's fight against COVID-19. The announcement was made as part of Al Ansari Exchange’s endeavors to stand in solidarity with the Indian people, as the country struggles with the ravaging coronavirus crisis.
Rashed Al Ansari, Chief Executive Officer of Al Ansari Exchange, said: “We are devastated to witness the worsening of the pandemic in India, but it is important for all our Indian colleagues and friends to know that they are not alone during this critical moment. To do our part and show our support, we have decided to waive remittance fees for all cash donations transferred to PM CARES. We are confident that India will conquer COVID-19 soon and emerge even stronger than before.”
