Abu Dhabi, September 26, 2021 - Al Masaood Automobiles, Abu Dhabi’s leading car dealership and exclusive distributor of Nissan in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Western Region, overachieved Nissan’s aftersales business targets for fiscal year (FY) 2020 despite the pandemic, enabling it to outperform other Nissan dealers operating globally within its segment.

Owing to their business performance resilience and ability to rapidly innovate and adapt despite unprecedented market changes, the Global Nissan Aftersales Award (GNAA) 2020 has been awarded to Al Masaood Automobiles.

Al Masaood Automobiles Aftersales team posted a significant achievement on business plan and set targets across all metrics. The company recorded an overachievement in parts purchase and parts sales volumes as well as service frequency targets in fiscal year 2020.

Improved customer retention and experience were noted during the period as well. Al Masaood Automobiles’ Nissan Aftersales Department recorded a notable overachievement in its customer satisfaction index in FY 2020, demonstrating anew the effectiveness of its strategic and holistic approach to providing premium customer experience.

Irfan Tansel, Chief Executive Officer, Al Masaood Automobiles, said: “Surpassing last year’s pre-determined industry metrics stems from our organisation’s customer-centric mindset. Despite the challenges and difficulties of 2020, we were determined to stay resilient and offer innovative solutions that looked after the wellbeing of our customers and kept them well connected to us. The happiness and satisfaction of our customers is our top priority, as they are at the heart of all our operations and business decisions. We take great pride in our continual efforts to elevate our aftersales service and in the long-lasting relationships that we have cultivated with our customers.”

“We thank Nissan for honouring us with this prestigious accolade, as well as our customers for their strong faith in our service and expertise. This accomplishment would not have been possible without them and our dedicated Parts and Service team, who has invested all efforts in their pursuit of excellence in serving our clients and winning their loyalty.  The recognition will further motivate us to continue pressing forward, with the goal of exceeding our customers’ expectations, and offering them seamless and delightful journeys with us,” he added.

Presenting the GNAA 2020 to Al Masaood Automobiles, Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East, said, “We are pleased to present the Global Nissan Aftersales Award (GNAA) to Al Masaood Automobiles, our trusted partner in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Western Region for nearly 50 years. This global accolade recognizes the dedication of each and every member of the team to consistently enhance their customer service offering and deliver an outstanding aftersales experience. We wish the team continued success and look forward to partnering together for many years to come.”

Dealers who have met Nissan’s aftersales business targets are conferred the Global Nissan Aftersales Award, one of most prestigious accolades given by the multinational automobile manufacturer. In granting the recognition, Nissan evaluates a dealer’s performance in terms of purchase business plan, parts and accessory sales, sales retention and frequency, customer retention, parts inventory management, and customer satisfaction, amongst others.
