Bin Mejren:
• We will continue to introduce more innovative initiatives to demonstrate our support of the national strategies.
• Our new achievement reflects our team's dedication to achieving the visions of our wise leadership.

Dubai, UAE - 20, October 2021:  In line with the objectives of the Dubai Paperless Strategy that abides with the values of environmental protection, Dubai Land Department (DLD) received the 100% paperless stamp from Digital Dubai, which seeks to achieve a number of strategic goals, most notably the consolidation of Dubai's efforts towards its smart and digital transformation.

This award is due to DLD’s adoption of a consistent policy to preserve the environment, in line with the country's environmental policy. Over the years, DLD has been keen to implement a phased strategy to completely eliminate the use of papers across all its internal and external transactions.
His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director-General of DLD, expressed his happiness with this achievement, which comes as a result of the continuous efforts and dedication of the various work teams at DLD towards achieving the wise leadership's vision for a paperless government.

Bin Mejren congratulated, thanked and appreciated all DLD's employees as well as expressed his pride in this accomplishment, which was achieved ahead of schedule, stressing that DLD will continue its digital journey and work on its continuous development.

Bin Mejren concluded: 'We will continue to launch additional innovative initiatives in which all our teams and human and professional resources will contribute efficiently and effectively in the hopes that this achievement will be a motive and an engine to drive further excellence across all fields.'
