HBMSU hosts delegation of Executive Doctorate students from University of Pennsylvania
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 28, 2022 - Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) welcomed a delegation of Executive Doctorate students from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE) to examine the prospects of collaborative knowledge and joint scientific research exchange. Prof. Nabil Baydoun, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at HBMSU, received the delegation, along with Prof. Awoniyi Awofeso, Program Chair, Health Studies.
Prof. Baydoun said: “The knowledge partnership between the international universities, and educational and research institutions play a significant role in enhancing student experiences by providing the finest educational methods that aligns with today’s accelerated changes, thereby guaranteeing continuity of the educational processes in the face of any adversities. We will continue to share our expertise in smart education and develop the scope of collaboration with the world's leading universities and academic centers, in order to meet the university’s vision to drive innovation in smart education.”

During their visit, HBMSU gave a presentation that highlighted its vision, message, and strategic priorities, and discussed the necessity of collaborating in applied research projects. Towards the end, the delegation praised HBMSU’s regional position as a leading academic institution in adopting innovation and implementing it in smart education to support academic research. They further expressed their desire to expand opportunities for collaboration in joint scientific research and benefit from the expertise of both universities.
