
International Fashion Weekend Returns for Its 6th Edition at Arjaan by Rotana Dubai
Dubai, UAE – 25 February 2025 - The 6th edition of International Fashion Weekend took center stage recently, at Skylight Hall, Arjaan by Rotana Dubai, leaving an unforgettable mark on the city's fashion landscape. As the official venue sponsor, Arjaan by Rotana was proud to host this extraordinary event that brought together a diverse mix of designers, models, and industry professionals from around the world.
Timur Ilgaz, Area Vice President of Dubai and Northern Emirates at Rotana and Cluster General Manager for Arjaan by Rotana Dubai, who also served as a jury member, reflected on the experience: 'Being part of the jury was truly inspiring witnessing such exceptional talent from around the world and the diversity of creativity on display. At Rotana, we are honored to sponsor an event that celebrates global fashion and inclusiveness, bringing together designers from different cultures and backgrounds under one roof.'
Founded and organized by Julya and Oksana, two fashion industry leaders. Julya with over 17 years of international experience, the event showcased the creative excellence of 33 designers representing various nationalities and styles. Models of all ages, from children to adults over 70 years old, graced the runway, highlighting the event’s commitment to diversity and inclusiveness. A special segment also celebrated designs created for models with Down syndrome, reinforcing the message that fashion is for everyone.
'Fashion is not just what we do, it’s who we are. No matter how many sleepless nights it takes, we will always put in the effort to grow, evolve, and create something even bigger,” said Julya and Oksana, the event’s founders and organizers. “Seeing designers from across the globe come together, and models of all ages and backgrounds shine on the runway, is what makes every challenge worthwhile.'
With an attendance of over 700 guests, including fashion influencers, media representatives, and industry leaders, the event was a resounding success. The runway came alive with bold designs, cultural influences, and cutting-edge trends, solidifying International Fashion Weekend as a premier fashion event in the region.
As International Fashion Weekend continues to grow, it remains a beacon of innovation and inclusiveness in the fashion world. With plans to expand its influence, including the launch of a new modeling school in Dubai, the future looks bright for this global platform.
