Event to Run from 24-25 March and Convene Aviation Industry Leaders

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 22 March, 2015 – The aviation industry’s top trendsetters and most influential players from around the globe are set to converge at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) to participate in the inaugural edition of Apex Middle East Conference 2015.

Taking place from 24 to 25 March, the Apex Middle East Conference is organised by the Airline Passenger Experience Association, a network of the world’s leading airlines, suppliers and related companies committed to enhancing the overall airline passenger experience. The event will offer participants a platform to discuss strategies, examine the future of air travel, and share insights on ways to increase business while infusing luxury into the passenger experience.

The event will include workshops, networking events and panel sessions featuring leading panelists from Etihad Airways, flydubai, Panasonic Avionics Corporation, Airbus, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Saudi Airlines, and BAE Systems, among others.

Serving as a key attraction of the event, Etihad Airways’ Innovation Centre will offer Apex guests an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of its world-class innovation centre in Abu Dhabi. The unique facility showcases the airline’s state-of-the-art cabins and superior product offering, reflecting the UAE’s top air carrier’s dedication to excellence.

Additionally, the centre will offer participants a sneak peek into reconstructions of the new Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 aircraft cabins, including realistic mock-ups of The Residence by Etihad™, the new First Apartments and First Suites, Business Studios and Economy Smart Seats.

ADNEC offers 133,000 sq m of inter-connected floor space to match the expectations of a wide variety of events and exhibitions. Equipped with modern facilities and built to international standards, the venue attracted 1.6 million people across 327 events in 2014.
