Dubai, UAE, December 3, 2016:  Each nation has its own story that chronicles its history and shapes its future. The UAE’s Union, however, is a one-of-a-kind story that represents an important turning point in the history of the Arab world, as well as the basis for comprehensive development aimed at the provision of a decent life for all.

We take great pride in the National Day, which celebrates the establishment of the UAE’s Union and the achievements of our beloved country, defined by national cohesion and belonging.

Today, we renew our covenant and loyalty to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, who has enriched the gains of our Union with achievements positioned to build a bright future for all Arabs, and for people around the globe.

We are proud to tell the story of our Union, which has led the march of giving based on Arab nationalist principles put by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and followed by his brothers Rulers of the Emirates.

We congratulate people of the UAE and the entire Arab world on the UAE’s Union, which reflects the highest sense of unity. The gains of the Union’s march are evident in its values and in the aspirations of the UAE’s sons and daughters, along with their leaders, which have crystallised into comprehensive and sustainable development that safeguards the present and lays the foundations for a secure bright future.
