During the conference, Abid Ali, Operations Director, SANED, threw the spotlight on the key features of the Aman System, which was developed based on integrated mechanisms and best practices aimed at consolidating fire preventive measures. He explained that the system is supported by laws and legislation that will require the adoption of the Aman System as a pre-requisite to renewing a commercial license and also as a pre-requisite for obtaining a building completion certificate. Ali also highlighted advantages like the flexibility of integrating the system into the fire alarm panel in the building, with the possibility to install it in different types of buildings. He also showcased the ability of the system to develop, modernize and expand in the future, including the capability to connect effectively with two central monitoring stations.

Building owners can register for the Aman System’s services through www.eservices.spsa.ae by entering building data such as the address, owner's name and location of the building. The new system is required to comply with the specified conditions, which require building owners to submit an annual maintenance contract for the valid fire alarm, the building completion certificate (if obtained). A fully equipped fire alarm panel with 6 full-function input ports and a separate power line for Aman is required, along with a wall space for system installation. The maintenance team of the building is also required at the site when the Aman technical team completes the installation.
