Learn African and Caribbean culture-inspired dance styles from master choreographers on Friday, 27 September #

Dubai, United Arab Emirates -  September 25, 2019:   Get ready for a celebration of movement and music featuring energetic dance performances, workshops with international instructors and an adrenaline-charged Afrobeats competition at The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah on Friday, 27 September. 

The 12 hour event, featuring lively Afrobeats, Dancehall and Coupe Decale genres will take place at Asian District at The Pointe from 11 am to 7 pm; while, the Afrobeats dance contest will be held at the beachfront event plaza from 8 pm to 11 pm.  

Meet and learn from globally renowned dancers, including Karina Palma (@karinapalma), Moto Dancers (UAE; @moto_dancers_afrobeats), Daffy (Kuwait; @kingdaff11), Petit Afro (The Netherlands/ Tanzania; @petitafro), Sara Karrit (Lebanon; @afrobysara), Nadia (Australia/ South Africa; @nadianfuzion), Awash (Kuwait; @3wash_hip_hop) and Katerina (Russia; @Katerina).  

The Pointe is a hub of entertainment, fitness and adventure at Palm Jumeirah and the Afrobeats championship is one of the many upcoming events planned at the destination in 2019 and beyond.
