DUBAI – October 30, 2019:   Globelink West Star Shipping (GLWS), a global leader in freight forwarding industry, is celebrating thirty years of its operations. The Dubai-headquartered GLWS is part of Singapore-based CWT Globelink Group with extensive network presence in 133 locations across 30 countries worldwide. 

GLWS has been a valued partner for numerous businesses across the Middle East providing them a repertoire of logistics services and comprehensive solutions. The company has shown tremendous growth in logistics and freight forwarding business catering to key industrial verticals and various other trading companies.

GLWS meets logistics challenges of businesses and connects them with global trade offering services, ideas and solutions for complex fulfillment needs of varied business entities across the Middle East. In the region, GLWS has a network of offices across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia -- Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah. 

GLWS was set up as West Star Shipping in Dubai in 1989. The company currently has a strength of nearly 1,000 employees. GLWS witnessed rapid growth after its progressive joint venture partnership with CWT Globelink. 

GLWS offers global standard services to domestic as well as overseas customers in the areas of comprehensive freight forwarding in import and export by sea and air, cost-effective LCL consolidation options for smaller-volume shipments, project cargo services, break-bulk and RORO services for major construction projects, local customs clearance services, door-to-door services. 

GLWS is an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), certified by Dubai Customs, giving credence to its stringent statutory and regulatory compliance, international trade compliance as well as vigorous supply chain security process.
