Al Qutami: The awards reflect the quality of medical services provided by the Authority

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 25, 2019:   The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced that it has won several prestigious local, regional and international awards for its services, initiatives and applications. The Authority has also won leadership awards.

The awards highlight a number of initiatives, which stemmed from innovative ideas that were developed and implemented to enhance the health services and health management functions at the DHA to provide high-quality care and ensure an efficient health system.

H.E. Humaid Al Qutami, Director General of the DHA said that the awards won by the DHA reflect the quality of medical services it provides to community members and visitors.

Al Qutami highlighted that provision of the highest quality of patient care, patient experience and satisfaction are core pillars of the DHA’s strategy to ensure it provides high-quality accessible and specialized care to community members and visitors.

His Excellency expressed his appreciation to the winners of the award and reiterated the importance to continue focusing on further enhancing patient care and healthcare facilities management.

It is the vision of the Dubai Health Strategy 2016-2021 to provide Dubai’s community members and visitors with high quality specialised and accessible health services. Use of smart technology across all areas of healthcare from administration to patient engagement is one of the tools to achieve this vision.
