16 November 2020, Dubai, UAE:  EWINGS, managing operator of the region’s first digital draw Emirates Loto, today, announced the relaunch of its weekly live draw under the name “Mahzooz”, meaning ‘fortunate’ or ‘lucky’ in Arabic. The inaugural Mahzooz draw will take place on 21st November 2020 at 9:00PM UAE time and will be streamed live across Mahzooz digital platforms. The announcement was made during a press conference held by EWINGS at V Hotel in Business Bay, and was attended by the company’s executive management team, partners, and media.
 
The brand refresh is part of the company’s strategy to ensure that participants from all over the world can benefit from a dynamic and evolved customer journey, a brand new advanced and customer-friendly digital platform, and enhanced features providing all-round more seamless customer experience.
“With Emirates Loto’s transformation to Mahzooz, our ambition to change the lives of winners and the wider general public continues as we support causes in line with UAE initiatives to help communities and the nation as a whole” said Teresa Starr, Co-CEO of EWINGS.
 
“Winners who are lucky enough to match six numbers will be able to claim a share of a minimum AED 50 million grand prize. Winners who match five numbers will be able to claim a share of the second tier AED 1 million prize, which might increase depending on how many players there are. Four numbers will earn a cash prize of AED 1,000, and those who match three numbers will receive AED 35,” added Starr.
 
The new and exciting Mahzooz is a digitally-advanced and secure platform, that gives individuals the opportunity to make their dreams come true from a new structure of incredible prizes. Participants can enter the draw through the website (www.mahzooz.ae) or via Mahzooz app on iOS and Android which will be available soon.
 
“We decided to transition into a period of innovation after we took on valued feedback from our customers,” said Farid Samji, Co-CEO of EWINGS.  “Our new platform is more seamless than ever before. We aim to ensure that Mahzooz will provide the best experience possible for every participant, and we remain inclusive to all, with the entry price still set at an affordable AED 35.” added Samji.
 
Former Emirates Loto celebrity hosts, Lebanese presenter and TV personality Wissam Braidy, and Indian model, presenter, and entrepreneur Aishwarya Ajit, will return to digital screens across the world to present the all-new Mahzooz which will feature a live audience upon the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
Mahzooz has a full calendar of community projects scheduled, as well as a range of worthwhile causes, philanthropic initiatives, and non-profit organisation tie-ups.

 Emirates Loto weekly draws witnessed overwhelming participation. 47,500 players from 50 different nationalities won AED 14,670,500 in total prizes.
