Akbar Travel signs agreement with Sabre at Arabian Travel Market
Dubai, UAE: Bahrain-headquartered travel technology company Sabre Travel Network Middle East (Sabre or STNME) has recently signed an agreement with Akbar Travel on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Akbar Travel is one of the leading travel agencies in India which is now rapidly expanding its business across the Middle East.
Akbar Travel is set to implement Sabre’s state-of-the-art technology including online booking engine, real-time data analysis tools that provide rich insights into corporate contracts, tools that automate ticketing, refunds and exchanges, and mid-office solutions in its Middle East business. Sabre will also provide hands-on training for the team at Akbar Travel to help them become proficient in their day-to-day operations of Sabre’s technology.
In a ceremony celebrating the agreement on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), Daniel Naoumovitch, CEO Sabre Travel Network Middle East commented: “Akbar Travel is one of the biggest travel agencies in India and are set to become a major player in the region. Regionally Akbar Travels runs 17 well-equipped offices in the UAE in addition to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and soon to launch in Bahrain.
