flynas Delivers First Class IT Operations and Support with Nexthink
IT analytics enables airline to better understand application usage; limiting downtime or critical service interruptions that could affect passengers
UAE– May 7, 2014: flynas, a Saudi Arabian airline and a subsidiary of National Air Services, today announced deploying Nexthink’s solution to get better visibility of its infrastructure; in order to streamline its IT operations and offer uninterrupted service to its passengers. The airline selected Nexthink through its partner ProgressWays.
Any malfunction of the IT infrastructure can have significant repercussions on an airline’s turnover and profitability. Nexthink offers flynas real-time visibility and reliable IT analytics of its entire infrastructure from an end-user (employee) perspective. This enables the IT team to better understand how the applications / system are being used by each employee (end-user) in different office locations and where problems persist – allowing them to detect and solve problems faster.
“Together, ProgressWays and Nexthink have been invaluable in improving our incident management and helping us reduce the time spent on discovering and resolving problems,” said Abdulnaseer Albalwi, IT Operations Manager at flynas. “Previously, during peak business periods, we were managing up to 100 troubleshooting incidents per day and thanks to Nexthink, that number has now been reduced significantly to 4 or 5.”
“The IT department is responsible for the infrastructure, software and services that support flynas’ workforce of over 1,000 end-users throughout the Kingdom,” said Ghassan Alkhalout, Regional Director, Nexthink. “Nexthink’s real time analytics provide the IT team meaningful data and actionable insight, to proactively identify service and performance issues even before employees can contact IT support,” added Ghassan.
“Nexthink compliments our services portfolio and IT vision,” said Wael Sebgatala, VP Sales, ProgressWays. “It is imperative that organizations leverage IT analytics to provide the right level of service to their end-users in a secure and cost effective way.”
Nexthink provides real-time visibility and analytics on the usage of the entire IT infrastructure and endpoints from the end-user perspective. All important end-user related events, for example changes in the IT infrastructure, application usage, bandwidth, error messages and crashes, as well as potential security risks and the performance of IT services are recorded and visualized from the end-user perspective.
