With her flowing platinum blond locks and blue-green gaze… Marjan Jonkman turns heads with her singular look. A muse with the face of an angel and a cheeky attitude. Claudie Pierlot has chosen this red-carpet veteranto embody its autumn-winter collection 2016.

In addition to loaning her face to the look book and the campaign, Marjan has conjured up an 80’s capsule for Claudie Pierlot: two preppys weatshirts and a python-style bag in two colours. Heather greys weatshirts with her name for a streetlook, and Claudie’s it-bag with a rock twist for an evening look.

Marjan portrays the 80’s in a vivaciously playfulway and reveals aside of the Claudie wardrobe that is perhaps a little bit less staid. We see the colours and the lines of the splendour of Parisian nights. An ode to those decadent years…

19-10-23. Perfect proportions, pretty gusseted compartments, fringes, with inspiration from Marjan, the Claudie signature bag comes in two new versions. We see here the details of the range: a jewellery-like round chain with small links and a very Claudie-like tone-on-tone dotted lining.
In daring red or jet black, python-printed calfskin and Italian suede calfskin make for a statement piece. The silver stamped logo and the row of rhinestones lends it an 80’s twist. It is worn in the cross body style or on the shoulder, day and night.

SWEAT DREAMS
Marjan gives a new look to the message-carrying sweatshirt, an iconic item in the Claudie wardrobe, with two versions in heat her grey cotton with a soft lining. The first version, in dark grey, plays on a groupie theme with its «Marjan» print. Graphic wording in metallic red foil with a cropped cut, a nod to cult rock groups, for a futuristic 80’s look.

The light grey version with its white graffiti-effect print, displays the motto of this big-hearted muse: «Stay humble». For a Claudie touch, we wear them with a Victorian collar or a satin-stitched top. Street wise & chic…
